疫情下的香港茶餐廳,一塊黃色隔板讓 Martin 與坐在對面的 Sara 看不見彼此。兩個陌生人只靠聲音、食物與每天的短暫相遇逐漸熟悉,而近在眼前的距離,也開始變得比想像中遙遠。原劇本《卡位對面》經試當真會員投票獲選,於 2022 年改編成短片《對面那位》。
In a Hong Kong cha chaan teng during the pandemic, a yellow partition prevents Martin and Sara from seeing one another. Connected by voices, food and brief daily encounters, two strangers grow closer across a distance of just a few inches. Selected through a member vote in Trial & Error’s scriptwriting competition, the original screenplay, Across the Booth, was adapted into The One on the Other Side in 2022.
